CoLU
Introduced by Advait Vagerwal in Deeper Learning with CoLU Activation
archive 2025-07-28 Description, source and code snippet are the archive's method entry.
CoLU is an activation function similar to Swish and Mish in properties. It is defined as: f(x)=x/(1-x^(-(x+eˣ))) It is smooth, continuously differentiable, unbounded above, bounded below, non-saturating, and non-monotonic. Based on experiments done with CoLU with different activation functions, it is observed that CoLU usually performs better than other functions on deeper neural networks.

Tasks archive 2025-07-28
The archive attaches no task to a paper tagged with this method.
Usage over time archive 2025-07-28
Components: the archive holds no method-to-method composition, so PwC's Components table cannot be rebuilt; the Papers list carries no Results column for the same reason (the archive does not join its leaderboard rows to method tags).
