Code with Papers is Syntology's community app: a free website operated by Syntology LLC (syntology.ai). Using it requires no account and no agreement beyond these lines. Syntology's own services, such as its API, have their own terms.

Content licence

The data on this site is available under CC BY-SA 4.0, as described on the attribution page, except abstracts the site cannot show came from arXiv, which keep their publishers' or authors' terms (see abstracts). These terms add no conditions to that licence and take none away: you may extract, reuse, reproduce and share the data, including in bulk, provided you attribute and share alike. Third-party code that this site links to is not ours and keeps its own licence.

No warranty

The archived data is provided as the archive left it on 2025-07-28 and may be wrong, stale or incomplete. Syntology's execution labels describe what happened when a sample ran on a synthesized fixture and nothing more. Nothing on this site is a representation that any code works, reproduces a paper, or is safe to run. The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.

Acceptable use

Do not attack the service. Crawl at a reasonable rate; the sitemap and the .json twins exist so that you do not have to scrape.

Reports and proposed changes

Anyone may report an error or propose a change through /contribute. A report is a claim, not a correction: nothing on the site changes until a person at Syntology has checked it against the paper, the repository or the archived record, and Syntology may decline any report. By sending a report you grant Syntology permission to use its content (everything except an email address you give for a reply) under CC BY-SA 4.0 to correct this site, and to publish the decision on /corrections together with the page and item, the field and, for an accepted report, the change made. Do not put personal data about anyone, or content you have no right to share, in a report. What a report collects is in the data policy.

Corrections, rights and removal

If a row about you or your repository is wrong, send a report or use the report link on the page. To have a repository or sample delisted, or for any copyright or licence question, write to legal@syntology.ai; the formal copyright-complaint procedure is in section 11 of Syntology's terms. To have personal data about you, such as an author name, corrected or removed, write to privacy@syntology.ai (Syntology's privacy policy).

Changes

These terms may change; the version in force is the one published here, dated by the build stamp in the footer.
