Supplementary Information for Machine Learning Applications in Archaeological Practices: A Review

This deposit is supplementary material to "Machine Learning Applications in Archaeological Practices: A Review". It contains six different files:

1. A supplementary document (1-Protocol for Machine Learning Applications in Archaeological Practices_ A Review.docx.docx) describing the detailed protocol used to screen the reviewed articles. It also contains information on the different features of the data table.
2. A data table (2-Results.xlsx) of all reviewed articles. This file contains the following sheets: Automatic_queries, Metadata, Final_results, Models, Tasks, Subfields.
3. The code of the GitHub repository ML_archaeology_review used for screening and processing the automatic filtering and plotting of the figures in the compressed zip file named 3-Automatic Screening Protocol Code.zip.
4. The code of the GitHub repository Google-Scholar-Scraper used for screening the records on Google Scholar in the compressed zip file named 4-Manual Screening Protocol Code.zip.
5. A set of research Information Systems (.ris) files containing bibliographic records of all queried, excluded (with reason number), included, and reviewed items all compressed in a zip file named 5-RIS Files.zip.
6. The data table used for the manual screening protocol, outlining the justification of the exclusion of certain records (6-Manual Screening.xslx)"
