As compared to still images, videos provide a more natural set of features for detecting visual relations, such as the dynamic relations like “A-follow-B” and “A-towards-B”, and temporally changing relations like “A-chase-B” followed by “A-hold-B”. Yet, VidVRD is technically more challenging than ImgVRD due to the difficulties in accurate object tracking and diverse relation appearances in the video domain.\r\n\r\n<span class=\"description-source\">Source: [ImageNet-VidVRD Video Visual Relation Dataset](https://xdshang.github.io/docs/imagenet-vidvrd.html)</span>","description_from":"task","source":{"archive":"pwc-archive (Hugging Face), CC BY-SA 4.0","snapshot":"2025-07-28","rank":"the archive's row order at snapshot; not re-ranked","rows_end_at":"2025-07-28","rows_withheld_as_spam":0,"metric_values":"the archive's strings, untouched"},"metrics":["Recall@100","Recall@50","mAP"],"metric_direction":{"note":"inferred from the metric name only (the archive records no direction); null = not inferred, chart draws points only","by_metric":{"Recall@100":"higher","Recall@50":"higher","mAP":"higher"}},"counts":{"rows":2,"rows_with_code":2,"rows_with_paper_page":2,"rows_dated":2,"rows_using_additional_data":0},"rows":[{"rank_in_archive_order":1,"model":"Social Fabric","metrics":{"Recall@100":"11.94","Recall@50":"9.99","mAP":"11.21"},"uses_additional_data":false,"paper_date":"2021-08-18","paper":"/paper/social-fabric-tubelet-compositions-for-video","paper_url":"https://arxiv.org/abs/2108.08363v1","paper_title":"Social Fabric: Tubelet Compositions for Video Relation Detection","code":"https://github.com/shanshuo/social-fabric","n_code_links":1,"syntology":null},{"rank_in_archive_order":2,"model":"TSPN","metrics":{"Recall@100":"10.71","Recall@50":"9.33","mAP":"7.61"},"uses_additional_data":false,"paper_date":"2021-07-15","paper":"/paper/what-and-when-to-look-temporal-span-proposal","paper_url":"https://arxiv.org/abs/2107.07154v2","paper_title":"What and When to Look?: Temporal Span Proposal Network for Video Relation Detection","code":"https://github.com/sangminwoo/Temporal-Span-Proposal-Network-VidVRD","n_code_links":1,"syntology":null}],"since_archive":{"claim":"Results that newer papers report for their own method, placed here by Syntology.
