The goal of this tutorial was to offer a conceptual and practical starting point for engineers and social scientists interested in thinking more expansively, holistically, and critically about research ethics. This report provides an outline of the tutorial, and contains our 'lifecourse checklist'. This was presented as part of the tutorial, and provides a practical starting point for researchers when thinking about research ethics before a project's start.
