This means that RayTracer not only renders 2D images from 3D scene parameters, but it can be used to optimize for model parameters that generate a target image in a Differentiable Programming (DP) pipeline. We interface our renderer with the deep learning library Flux for use in combination with neural networks. We demonstrate the use of this differentiable renderer in rendering tasks and in solving inverse graphics problems.","url_abs":"https://arxiv.org/abs/1907.07198v3","url_pdf":"https://arxiv.org/pdf/1907.07198v3.pdf","source":{"archive":"pwc-archive (Hugging Face), CC BY-SA 4.0","snapshot":"2025-07-28","licence_url":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode","row_kind":"abstracts"},"code_links":[{"paper_slug":"raytracerjl-a-differentiable-renderer-that","repo_url":"https://github.com/avik-pal/RayTracer.jl","is_official":1,"mentioned_in_paper":1,"mentioned_in_github":0,"framework":"none","reach":{"status":"ok","spdx":"MIT"}}],"tasks":[],"methods":[],"datasets_introduced":[],"methods_introduced":[],"results":[],"syntology":{"syntology_url":"https://syntology.ai/paper/1907.07198","atlas_url":"https://app.syntology.ai/?focus=1907.07198","mcp":null,"developers":"https://syntology.ai/developers"},"arxiv_metadata":null,"syntology_extracted_results":null}
