PhoWhisper's robustness is achieved through fine-tuning the Whisper model on an 844-hour dataset that encompasses diverse Vietnamese accents. Our experimental study demonstrates state-of-the-art performances of PhoWhisper on benchmark Vietnamese ASR datasets.
