A total of 40 nonlinear objective functions are tested, and their results are compared to the data generated by a novel exhaustive rejection sampling routine. The Hausdorff distance, which is a min-max set dissimilarity metric, is then used to assess how well each nonlinear objective function performed (i.e., how well the tested objective functions were able to explore the non-convex power flow space). Exhaustive test results were collected from five PGLib test-cases and systematically analyzed.","url_abs":"https://arxiv.org/abs/2206.12214v2","url_pdf":"https://arxiv.org/pdf/2206.12214v2.pdf","source":{"archive":"pwc-archive (Hugging Face), CC BY-SA 4.0","snapshot":"2025-07-28","licence_url":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode","row_kind":"abstracts"},"code_links":[{"paper_slug":"optimization-based-exploration-of-the","repo_url":"https://github.com/ignasiven/data-collection-algorithm","is_official":1,"mentioned_in_paper":1,"mentioned_in_github":0,"framework":"none","reach":null}],"tasks":[],"methods":[{"method_slug":"test","method_name":"Test"}],"datasets_introduced":[],"methods_introduced":[],"results":[],"syntology":{"atlas_url":null,"mcp":null,"developers":"https://syntology.ai/developers"},"arxiv_metadata":null,"syntology_extracted_results":null}
