We propose a DNNbased method to do manga face detection, which is a challenging\r\nbut relatively unexplored topic. Given a manga page, we €rst\r\n€nd candidate regions based on the selective search scheme. A\r\ndeep neural network is then proposed to detect manga faces of\r\nvarious appearance.
