We extend the methods of the latter by a permutation-based operation, tuck, and develop a class of algorithms, namely GRaSP, that are efficient and pointwise consistent under increasingly weaker assumptions than faithfulness. The most relaxed form of GRaSP outperforms many state-of-the-art causal search algorithms in simulation, allowing efficient and accurate search even for dense graphs and graphs with more than 100 variables.","url_abs":"https://arxiv.org/abs/2206.05421v1","url_pdf":"https://arxiv.org/pdf/2206.05421v1.pdf","source":{"archive":"pwc-archive (Hugging Face), CC BY-SA 4.0","snapshot":"2025-07-28","licence_url":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode","row_kind":"abstracts"},"code_links":[{"paper_slug":"greedy-relaxations-of-the-sparsest","repo_url":"https://github.com/cmu-phil/grasp","is_official":1,"mentioned_in_paper":1,"mentioned_in_github":1,"framework":"none","reach":{"status":"ok","spdx":"MIT"}}],"tasks":[],"methods":[],"datasets_introduced":[],"methods_introduced":[],"results":[],"syntology":{"syntology_url":"https://syntology.ai/paper/2206.05421","atlas_url":"https://app.syntology.ai/?focus=2206.05421","mcp":null,"developers":"https://syntology.ai/developers"},"arxiv_metadata":null,"syntology_extracted_results":null}
