In particular, we delineate how this notion of encoding is different than other encoding algorithms commonly used in other disciplines such as computer vision and computer graphics. We also present a model comprised of multiple neural networks including a processor, a compressor and an evaluator.These parts each satisfy a particular requirement of our encoding. We compare our encoding model with the analogous models in the literature","url_abs":"https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.07792v1","url_pdf":"https://arxiv.org/pdf/2104.07792v1.pdf","source":{"archive":"pwc-archive (Hugging Face), CC BY-SA 4.0","snapshot":"2025-07-28","licence_url":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode","row_kind":"abstracts"},"code_links":[{"paper_slug":"geometry-encoding-for-numerical-simulations","repo_url":"https://github.com/ansysresearch/geometry_encoding","is_official":1,"mentioned_in_paper":1,"mentioned_in_github":0,"framework":"pytorch","reach":null}],"tasks":[{"task_slug":"machine-learning","task_name":"BIG-bench Machine Learning"}],"methods":[],"datasets_introduced":[],"methods_introduced":[],"results":[],"syntology":{"atlas_url":null,"mcp":null,"developers":"https://syntology.ai/developers"},"arxiv_metadata":null,"syntology_extracted_results":null}
