Yet, in the context of space science and planetary exploration the door is open for major advances. We introduce tools to handle planetary data from the mission Chang'E-4 and present a framework for Neural Style Transfer using Cycle-consistency from rendered images. The experiments are conducted in the context of the Iris Lunar Rover, a nano-rover that will be deployed in lunar terrain in 2021 as the flagship of Carnegie Mellon, being the first unmanned rover of America to be on the Moon.","url_abs":"https://arxiv.org/abs/2011.11627v1","url_pdf":"https://arxiv.org/pdf/2011.11627v1.pdf","source":{"archive":"pwc-archive (Hugging Face), CC BY-SA 4.0","snapshot":"2025-07-28","licence_url":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode","row_kind":"abstracts"},"code_links":[{"paper_slug":"cycle-consistent-generative-adversarial","repo_url":"https://github.com/decurtoidiaz/ce4","is_official":1,"mentioned_in_paper":1,"mentioned_in_github":0,"framework":"none","reach":null}],"tasks":[{"task_slug":"style-transfer","task_name":"Style Transfer"}],"methods":[],"datasets_introduced":[{"slug":"ce4","name":"CE4","full_name":""}],"methods_introduced":[],"results":[],"syntology":{"atlas_url":null,"mcp":null,"developers":"https://syntology.ai/developers"},"arxiv_metadata":null,"syntology_extracted_results":null}
