Methods to predict\ninterpreter confidence and the adequacy of the interpreted message have a\nnumber of potential applications, such as in computer-assisted interpretation\ninterfaces or pedagogical tools. We propose the task of predicting simultaneous\ninterpreter performance by building on existing methodology for quality\nestimation (QE) of machine translation output.
