Our protocol combines traditional DDH-based PSI and PSI-C protocols with compression based on Bloom filters that helps reduce communication in the asymmetric setting. Currently, our library supports C++, C, Go, WebAssembly, JavaScript, Python, and Rust, and runs on both traditional hardware (x86) and browser targets. We further apply our library to two use cases: (i) a privacy-preserving contact tracing protocol that is compatible with existing approaches, but improves their privacy guarantees, and (ii) privacy-preserving machine learning on vertically partitioned data.","url_abs":"https://arxiv.org/abs/2011.09350v1","url_pdf":"https://arxiv.org/pdf/2011.09350v1.pdf","source":{"archive":"pwc-archive (Hugging Face), CC BY-SA 4.0","snapshot":"2025-07-28","licence_url":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode","row_kind":"abstracts"},"code_links":[{"paper_slug":"asymmetric-private-set-intersection-with","repo_url":"https://github.com/OpenMined/PyVertical","is_official":1,"mentioned_in_paper":1,"mentioned_in_github":1,"framework":"pytorch","reach":null},{"paper_slug":"asymmetric-private-set-intersection-with","repo_url":"https://github.com/OpenMined/PSI","is_official":1,"mentioned_in_paper":1,"mentioned_in_github":0,"framework":"none","reach":{"status":"unanswered"}}],"tasks":[{"task_slug":"machine-learning","task_name":"BIG-bench Machine Learning"},{"task_slug":"privacy-preserving","task_name":"Privacy Preserving"}],"methods":[],"datasets_introduced":[],"methods_introduced":[],"results":[],"syntology":{"syntology_url":null,"atlas_url":"https://app.syntology.ai/?focus=2011.09350","mcp":null,"developers":"https://syntology.ai/developers"},"arxiv_metadata":null,"syntology_extracted_results":null}
