This study evaluates deep learning solutions for this task, ranking existing methods and analyzing their performance under diverse image modifications. Out of 61 analyzed papers, only nine offered implementation or pre-trained models, enabling assessment of three prominent methods: Lung VAE, TransResUNet, and CE-Net. The analysis revealed that CE-Net performs best, demonstrating the highest values in dice similarity coefficient and intersection over union metric.","url_abs":"https://arxiv.org/abs/2404.06455v1","url_pdf":"https://arxiv.org/pdf/2404.06455v1.pdf","source":{"archive":"pwc-archive (Hugging Face), CC BY-SA 4.0","snapshot":"2025-07-28","licence_url":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode","row_kind":"abstracts"},"code_links":[{"paper_slug":"a-comparative-analysis-of-deep-learning","repo_url":"https://github.com/hryniewska/lung-segmentation-on-x-rays","is_official":1,"mentioned_in_paper":1,"mentioned_in_github":0,"framework":"tf","reach":{"status":"ok"}}],"tasks":[],"methods":[],"datasets_introduced":[],"methods_introduced":[],"results":[],"syntology":{"atlas_url":null,"mcp":null,"developers":"https://syntology.ai/developers"},"arxiv_metadata":null,"syntology_extracted_results":null}
