{"url":"/dataset/omnicity","name":"OmniCity","full_name":null,"description_markdown":"**OmniCity** is a dataset for omnipotent city understanding from multi-level and multi-view images. It contains multi-view satellite images as well as street-level panorama and mono-view images, constituting over 100K pixel-wise annotated images that are well-aligned and collected from 25K geo-locations in New York City. This dataset introduces a new task of fine-grained building instance segmentation on street-level panorama images. It also provides new problem settings for existing tasks, such as cross-view image matching, synthesis, segmentation, detection, etc., and facilitates the developing of new methods for large-scale city understanding, reconstruction, and simulation.","description_withheld":null,"homepage":"https://city-super.github.io/omnicity/","introduced_date":"2022-08-01","introduced_date_note":null,"introduced_by":{"paper":"/paper/omnicity-omnipotent-city-understanding-with","title":"OmniCity: Omnipotent City Understanding with Multi-level and Multi-view Images","first_author":"Weijia Li","url":null},"license":null,"modalities":[{"name":"Images","url":"/datasets/modality/images"}],"tasks":[{"name":"Semantic Segmentation","url":"/task/semantic-segmentation","datasets_with_task":"/datasets/task/semantic-segmentation"},{"name":"Instance Segmentation","url":"/task/instance-segmentation","datasets_with_task":"/datasets/task/instance-segmentation"}],"languages":[],"variants":["OmniCity"],"data_loaders":[],"num_papers_in_archive":2,"source":{"archive":"pwc-archive (Hugging Face), CC BY-SA 4.0","snapshot":"2025-07-28"},"benchmarks":[],"papers_with_a_benchmark_row":[],"syntology_totals":{"read_at":"2026-09-24T18:15:14+00:00","papers_with_samples":0,"samples_harvested":0,"samples_ran":0,"samples_unverified":0,"pointer_only_for_licence":0,"papers_with_no_sample_that_ran":0,"note":"the per-paper counts above, summed; not a rate"},"papers_note":"The archive never published its papers-using-dataset list; these are papers with a leaderboard row on this dataset's benchmarks."}
