{"url":"/dataset/nmed-h","name":"NMED-H","full_name":"Naturalistic Music EEG Dataset - Hindi","description_markdown":"The NMED-H dataset contains scalp EEG responses recorded from 48 adults as they heard intact and scrambled\r\nversions of full-length vocal works (Hindi pop songs). Sixteen stimuli were included in the experiment: Four songs\r\nin four conditions per song. Twelve participants were assigned to each stimulus, and each participant heard their\r\nassigned stimuli twice (24 trials total per stimulus). Dense-array EEG was recorded using the Electrical\r\nGeodesics, Inc. (EGI) GES 300 platform. Data are published in Matlab format. The dataset contains (1) raw EEG\r\n(individual recordings, 97 files), (2) clean EEG (aggregated by stimulus and listen, 32 files), (3) spatially filtered\r\nEEG (aggregated by stimulus condition, four files), (4) behavioral responses (grouped by listen, two files), and (5)\r\nparticipant-stimulus assignment file. Items (1) - (3) are compressed in .zip archives (500 MB - 2 GB each); an\r\nexample file from each archive can be downloaded separately. Items (4) and (5) are < 1 KB each. This dataset\r\ncan be used in combination with the Naturalistic Music EEG Dataset - Tempo (NMED-T).","description_withheld":null,"homepage":"http://purl.stanford.edu/sd922db3535","introduced_date":null,"introduced_date_note":null,"introduced_by":null,"license":null,"modalities":[],"tasks":[],"languages":[],"variants":["NMED-H"],"data_loaders":[],"num_papers_in_archive":1,"source":{"archive":"pwc-archive (Hugging Face), CC BY-SA 4.0","snapshot":"2025-07-28"},"benchmarks":[],"papers_with_a_benchmark_row":[],"syntology_totals":{"read_at":"2026-09-24T18:15:14+00:00","papers_with_samples":0,"samples_harvested":0,"samples_ran":0,"samples_unverified":0,"pointer_only_for_licence":0,"papers_with_no_sample_that_ran":0,"note":"the per-paper counts above, summed; not a rate"},"papers_note":"The archive never published its papers-using-dataset list; these are papers with a leaderboard row on this dataset's benchmarks."}
