{"url":"/dataset/fastzip-data","name":"FastZIP Data","full_name":"FastZIP Dataset and Code","description_markdown":"# Structure of code/data folders and how to use them\r\n\r\n#### fastzip-code\r\n\r\n* Contains codebase to generate results in *fastzip-results* folder\r\n  * Individual notebooks contain comments on their functionality/how to use them\r\n  * *FastZIP-Resample.ipynb* (optional)\r\n    * Resamples the collected sensor data to desired sampling rates (eliminates the effect of sampling rate instability/drift)\r\n    * Input: *fastzip-data/exp-X/raw*\r\n    * Output: *fastzip-data/exp-X/adv* and *fastzip-data/exp-X/non-adv*\r\n  * *FastZIP-Process.ipynb*\r\n    * Computes error rates for adversarial and benign devices in different configurations, generates binary fingerprints (see comments inside the notebook)\r\n    * Input: *fastzip-data/exp-X/adv* and *fastzip-data/exp-X/non-adv*\r\n    * Output:  *fastzip-results/logs* and *fastzip-results/fps*\r\n  * *FastZIP-Results.ipynb*\r\n    * Parses and caches results generated by *FastZIP-Process.ipynb* notebook to be used for plotting and data analysis\r\n    * Input: *fastzip-results/logs* and *fastzip-results/fps*\r\n    * Output: *fastzip-results/cache*\r\n  * The system paths that are used by all notebooks are set in *fastzip-code/const/globconst.py* --> **adjust them** before running the code!\r\n* Uses folder *fastzip-data* as input\r\n* Uses folder *fastzip-results* as output\r\n* The above notebooks were run using Python 3.6.5 on Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS bionic (x64)\r\n  * The list of python packages with versions installed on the test machine is in *fastzip-code/python3-packages.txt*\r\n\r\n#### fastzip-data\r\n\r\n* Contains sensor data collected from multiple devices in running/stationary cars in various conditions (e.g., in a city, etc.) from three experiments: *exp-3*, *exp-4*, and *exp-5*\r\n  * Each *exp-X* folder has the same structure:\r\n    * *adv* - sensor data collected when two cars drive one after another \r\n    * *non-adv* - sensor when two cars drive the same route but not one after another \r\n    * In adv and non-adv the sensor data is resampled (see description of *FastZIP-Resample.ipynb* )\r\n    * *raw* - sensor data collected in the experiment before resampling or split into *adv* and *non-adv*\r\n\r\n#### fastzip-min_entropy\r\n\r\n* Contains input and evaluation results for min-entropy estimation of our generated fingerprints using  *NIST SP 800 90B tests*\r\n  * See README inside the folder for more detail\r\n\r\n#### fastzip-results\r\n\r\n* Results in *json* or *json.gz* formats generated by *FastZIP-Process.ipynb* and *FastZIP-Results.ipynb*\r\n* See comments in these notebooks for the type of results stored in folders inside *fastzip-results*\r\n\r\n#### fpake\r\n\r\n* Contains the implementation of the fPAKE protocol as well as input and output for its benchmarking\r\n  * See README inside the folder for more detail","description_withheld":null,"homepage":"https://zenodo.org/record/4777836","introduced_date":"2021-06-09","introduced_date_note":null,"introduced_by":{"paper":"/paper/fastzip-faster-and-more-secure-zero","title":"FastZIP: Faster and More Secure Zero-Interaction Pairing","first_author":null,"url":null},"license":{"name":"Open Data Commons Attribution License v1.0","url":"https://opendatacommons.org/licenses/by/1.0/"},"modalities":[{"name":"Environment","url":"/datasets/modality/environment"}],"tasks":[],"languages":[],"variants":["FastZIP Data"],"data_loaders":[],"num_papers_in_archive":1,"source":{"archive":"pwc-archive (Hugging Face), CC BY-SA 4.0","snapshot":"2025-07-28"},"benchmarks":[],"papers_with_a_benchmark_row":[],"syntology_totals":{"read_at":"2026-09-25T09:33:49+00:00","papers_with_samples":0,"samples_harvested":0,"samples_ran":0,"samples_unverified":0,"pointer_only_for_licence":0,"papers_with_no_sample_that_ran":0,"note":"the per-paper counts above, summed; not a rate"},"papers_note":"The archive never published its papers-using-dataset list; these are papers with a leaderboard row on this dataset's benchmarks."}
