{"url":"/dataset/bidcd","name":"BIDCD","full_name":"Bosch Industrial Depth Completion Dataset","description_markdown":"Bosch Industrial Depth Completion Dataset (BIDCD) is an RGBD dataset for of static table-top scenes with industrial objects. \r\nThe data was collected with a RealSense depth-camera mounted on a robotic arm, i.e. from multiple Points-of-View (POV), approximately 60 for each scene. \r\nWe generated depth ground truth with a customized pipeline for removing erroneous depth values, and applied Multi-View geometry to fuse the cleaned depth frames and fill-in missing information. \r\nThe fused scene mesh was back-projected to each POV, and finally a bi-lateral filter was applied to reduce the remaining holes.\r\n\r\nFor each scene we provide RGB, raw Depth, Ground-Truth Depth. \r\nWe also provide a corresponding file-system with 3D information: our fused meshes, camera poses, and camera parameters.\r\n\r\nA simpler dataset with a Single-Item (SI) in each scene is also provided, using fewer POV, approximately 4 for each scene.","description_withheld":null,"homepage":"https://zenodo.org/communities/bidcd","introduced_date":"2021-08-10","introduced_date_note":null,"introduced_by":{"paper":"/paper/bidcd-bosch-industrial-depth-completion","title":"BIDCD -- Bosch Industrial Depth Completion Dataset","first_author":"Adam Botach","url":null},"license":{"name":"CC-4.0","url":null},"modalities":[{"name":"Images","url":"/datasets/modality/images"},{"name":"RGB-D","url":"/datasets/modality/rgb-d"}],"tasks":[{"name":"Depth Completion","url":"/task/depth-completion","datasets_with_task":"/datasets/task/depth-completion"}],"languages":[{"name":"English","url":"/datasets/language/english"}],"variants":["BIDCD"],"data_loaders":[],"num_papers_in_archive":1,"source":{"archive":"pwc-archive (Hugging Face), CC BY-SA 4.0","snapshot":"2025-07-28"},"benchmarks":[],"papers_with_a_benchmark_row":[],"syntology_totals":{"read_at":"2026-09-24T18:15:14+00:00","papers_with_samples":0,"samples_harvested":0,"samples_ran":0,"samples_unverified":0,"pointer_only_for_licence":0,"papers_with_no_sample_that_ran":0,"note":"the per-paper counts above, summed; not a rate"},"papers_note":"The archive never published its papers-using-dataset list; these are papers with a leaderboard row on this dataset's benchmarks."}
